COLUMBUS – State Rep. Brennan (D-Parma) announced today that Ohio has received $14.2 million from the bipartisan Federal Infrastructure Investment Act. These funds are aimed to strengthen Ohio’s electric grid. 

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) and Steve Demetriou (R-Bainbridge Twp) are pleased to report that House Bill (HB) 195, which would create an adaptive mobility vehicle dealer license, has been unanimously passed by the Ohio House Commerce and Labor Committee. 

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Brennan (D-Parma) today announced that the state of Ohio is increasing its funding of annual peace officer continuing professional training (CPT) from 50% to 100% retroactive to January 1, 2023. Over the past two years, this program was operating on a pilot program basis, with a 50% salary reimbursement rate from the state for officers’ time spent in training up to 40 hours.  

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) and the Democratic Cuyahoga County Delegation today sent a letter to the CEOs of CSX Transportation, Inc. and Norfolk Southern Corporation, requesting action regarding the maintenance and recent violations of railroad bridges in Cleveland the companies own. 

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Darnell T. Brewer (D-Cleveland) and Sean Brennan (D-Parma) Tuesday gave sponsored testimony on House Bill (HB) 186, the Responsible Gun Owners Act, to the House Ways & Means Committee. This measure would exempt gun safety devices from taxation. This initiative seeks to encourage the adoption of essential safety measures while alleviating financial burdens for those seeking to secure their firearms.
