Rep. Humphrey Announces $635k for Infant and Maternal Home Visit Pilot Program

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey  (D-Columbus) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved funding for a new, evidence-based home visit pilot program designed to provide in-home support to new moms and families in the postpartum period. The initiative is part of a suite of new programs aimed at reducing infant and maternal mortality rates and improving early childhood outcomes across Ohio.

Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey Announces Nearly $29.5M to Improve Housing Access Across Ohio

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey (D-Columbus) today announced that nearly $29.5M in awards have been announced to help improve housing access in Ohio. The funding is part of the first round of the Welcome Home Ohio program, which is investing a total of $100M in grants over two years to help landbanks purchase, rehabilitate, or build qualifying residential properties for income-eligible Ohioans.

Franklin County House Democrats Announce $42M for Community Connectivity to Ensure Equitable and Safe Transit

COLUMBUS – The Franklin County Delegation of the Ohio House of Representatives Democratic Caucus today announced that the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA)  has been awarded $42M dollars in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and Biden-Harris Administration for the construction of the proposed West Broad Street Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project.
