COLUMBUS – House Bill 111, which will raise the penalties for domestic violence offenders from a “low tier” third-degree felony to a “high tier” third-degree felony, passed the House Criminal Justice Committee 11-0. Bill sponsors, State Reps. LaRe (R-Violet Twp.) and Miller (R-Newark) were pleased to see unanimous support from the committee.

Bill adds to "Move Over, Slow Down" initiative
December 13, 2013

State Representatives Margaret Ann Ruhl (R-Mount Vernon) and Ross McGregor (R-Springfield) announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 137, which requires vehicles to slow down, proceed with caution and, if possible, change lanes when passing highway maintenance vehicles and Public Utilities Commission (PUCO) vehicles that are stopped.
