COLUMBUS – House Bill 111, which will raise the penalties for domestic violence offenders from a “low tier” third-degree felony to a “high tier” third-degree felony, passed the House Criminal Justice Committee 11-0. State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) cosponsored and voted in favor of the Ohio Homeowners Relief Act on Wednesday, which was approved by the Ohio House of Representatives. Cutrona is a cosponsor of the bill and has consistently worked this year to provide property tax relief at the Statehouse.
