Rep. Brennan Announces Passage of HB 195 out of the Ohio House of Representatives

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Brennan (D-Parma) today announced the passage of his first bill out of the Ohio House of Representatives. House Bill (HB) 195, which will create an adaptive mobility car dealer license, passed unanimously on December 6th and was a bipartisan collaboration with his Republican colleague Rep. Steve Demetriou (R-Bainbridge Township).

Rep. Brennan Supports Legislation to Protect Ohioans from Rising Property Taxes

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) today announced that the Ohio House recently passed House Bill (HB) 187 - the Ohio Homeowners Relief Act. Rep. Brennan was one of three Democrats who supported this legislation which will protect Ohioans by modifying the procedures used to calculate property valuations.

Rep. Brennan Announces $1.5B to Address Safety, Emergency, and Preservation Projects

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) today announced that the Controlling Board has approved the reappropriation of $1.5B for the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to complete ongoing Safety, Emergency, and Preservation activities. The purpose of the reallocation is to guarantee and accelerate the completion of critical transportation projects. The funds from this announcement are crucial for reducing the number and severity of crashes on public roads, repairing damage from declared emergencies, and the preservation of roads and bridges that ODOT is responsible for.

Rep. Brennan Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) today celebrates the two-year anniversary of President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and its historic impact on Ohio. The Biden Administration has announced nearly $400 billion in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding for specific projects and awards across over 4,500 communities throughout the United States.

Rep. Brennan Announces $4.16 Million Award to Parma Schools

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Brennan (D-Parma) today announced that the Parma City Schools has been awarded more than $4 million for the Career Technical Construction Program grant courtesy the State of Ohio. The Ohio schools selected for the grants were awarded nearly $200 million in total to help expand career technical educational and training facilities to serve more students.

Rep. Brennan Announces Teacher and Student of the Month Program

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Brennan (D-Parma) today announced the launch of his student and teacher of the month program. Residents of Rep. Brennan’s district is encouraged to nominate a deserving K-12 student or teacher who either resides, learns, or teaches in the district, which includes Parma, Parma Heights, and Cleveland’s West Park (approximately from West 130th Street to Rocky River Drive, north to Lorain Road).

Rep. Brennan Responds to the Death of Ronald Mottl, Sr.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Brennan (D-Parma) today responds to the passing of Ronald Mottl, Senior. Former Congressman Ronald Milton Mottl served as state senator, state representative, Parma councilman, Parma City School Board member, among other offices and untold accomplishments. While serving in the Ohio General Assembly, he championed the bill that led to the creation of the Ohio Lottery. As a result, many referred to him as the Father of the Ohio Lottery. Since its inception, the lottery has raised over $30 billion for public education in Ohio.
