COLUMBUS – State Rep. Brennan (D-Parma) announced today that Ohio has received $14.2 million from the bipartisan Federal Infrastructure Investment Act. These funds are aimed to strengthen Ohio’s electric grid.
“As a member of the Ohio House of Representatives Committee on Public Utilities, I am very concerned about our aging electric grid. The Biden Administration’s commitment to working with us to prevent brownouts and blackouts during natural disasters and other events is very welcomed,” said Rep. Brennan.
The funding will be distributed via a grant program to entities capable of electrical grid work.
