The Ohio House of Representatives today concurred on amendments made by the Ohio Senate to legislation that revises Ohio’s child abuse and neglect reporting law. Included among the changes made by the Senate was language from House Bill 69, otherwise known as the Heartbeat Bill.

Yesterday, State Representative Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) hosted Ohio Aerospace Day at the Ohio Statehouse in conjunction with the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Council (OAAC) and the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Technical Committee (OAATC), which he chairs.

State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) is encouraging those interested to participate in events for Survivors of Suicide Awareness Day, which is recognized internationally as the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  Events are scheduled throughout the state and the nation on Saturday, November 29, 2016. 
 

State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Mansfield) joined the Ohio House this week to present a resolution on behalf of William J. Hartnett and his life. “Bill” Hartnett’s family was present to receive the resolution.

State Representatives Jonathan Dever (R-Madeira) and Dorothy Pelanda (R-Marysville) today applauded the Ohio House’s passage of House Bill 270. The legislation, which they jointly sponsored, provides additional judicial discretion when dealing with Ohio’s heroin epidemic.
