The Ohio House today passed House Bill 388, which allows judges to grant the use of ignition interlock for individuals on their first OVI offense. This legislation, sponsored by State Representative Gary Scherer (R-Circleville), is also known as “Annie’s Law,” named after Scherer’s constituent, Annie Rooney, who at age 36 lost her life to a drunk driver in 2013.

The Ohio House of Representatives today passed legislation sponsored by State Representative Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) that would exempt military deployment orders from being a public record. The intention of the bill is to provide military families with the security, privacy and peace of mind they deserve while their family member serves away from home.

Legislation passed through the Ohio House of Representatives today that aim to make needed upgrades and improvements to state law to benefit both consumers and towing companies. House Bill 341 builds upon provisions that were included in Senate Bill 274 from the previous General Assembly.
