Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved the release of capital funds for improvement projects at North Central State College. The funds will be used for the Kee Hall Renovation project and the Fallerius Hall IT Data Center Infrastructure project in Mansfield, Richland County.

Rep. Anielski Presents Commendation to 2016 Cuyahoga Valley Chamber's Person of the Year

State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) presented an Ohio House commendation honoring Eileen Jablonski Hawkins for her achievement of receiving the Cuyahoga Valley Chamber’s 2016 Person of the Year. 

 
 

State Representative Bill Reineke (R-Tiffin) announced today that Site Selection Magazine has recognized both Fremont in Sandusky County and Tiffin in Seneca County as top micropolitan areas in the country. In a ranking of the top micropolitan areas nationally, both communities came in a tie for 39th according to the national economic development publication.

 
 

As someone who has worked tirelessly with our community’s most vulnerable generation, I have made it a priority to continue that work at the Ohio Statehouse by fighting to ensure our children are best equipped for the path that lies ahead. In the 14 months I have spent in Columbus thus far, I am very proud of the legislation that the Ohio House of Representatives has passed to benefit youth across Ohio. Speaker Rosenberger Applauds Amazon Agreement with Wilmington's Air Transport Services Group

COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) applauded today’s announcement that an agreement has been finalized between Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) and Amazon Fulfillment Services. The deal specifies that ATSG will be added as an air cargo network provider to help serve Amazon customers throughout the United States.

 
 
Representative Burkley Joined by Regional Leaders to Discuss Drug Epidemic

State Representative Tony Burkley (R-Payne), in collaboration with the Ohio Attorney General’s office, today hosted an organizational meeting in Defiance to help address Ohio’s drug epidemic. The goal of the meeting was to gain knowledge on the status of Defiance County, located within the 82nd Ohio House district, in regards to combatting the epidemic.
