Speaker Huffman Issues Statement Following Unanimous Passage of a Congressional District Plan

COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman (R-Lima) today released the following statement upon the unanimous adoption of a congressional district plan by the Ohio Redistricting Commission:

“Today, the Ohio Redistricting Commission unanimously approved a bipartisan, constitutional map, bringing long-term certainty to congressional district lines through 2031. I commend Co-Chair Stewart and members of the Commission for their work to lead a fair and open process – a process that was approved by voters in 2018. Because of today’s action, Ohioans and candidates will have clarity going into next year about the boundaries of Ohio’s congressional districts.”
