COLUMBUS — State Rep. Ashley Bryant Bailey (D-Cincinnati) today announced the introduction of two pieces of legislation for Earth Day aimed at protecting Ohio families and children from the dangers of radon exposure. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer and is often an undetected environmental hazard.

House Bill (HB) 768 allows county Jobs and Family Services offices to exclude family income when determining eligibility for publicly funded childcare.

Act. This bill would align Ohio's insurance standards with updated federal guidance and current clinical evidence regarding menopausal hormone therapy. It expands access to care and ensures patients can work with their doctors to make informed, individualized decisions about their health, without worrying about unaffordable out-of-pocket costs.
