COLUMBUS – State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today announces his recent participation in 50 States One Israel, a historic bipartisan delegation uniting state legislators from across the United States. Invited on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel and the Consulate General of Israel in New York, State Representatives Synenberg, Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill), Melanie Miller (R- Ashland), and Ty Mathews (R-Findlay) were hosted in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the conference aimed to strengthen ties between the United States and Israel.

Donnelly, former Chief Justice Eric Brown, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association to call on the Supreme Court of Ohio to restore and uphold the longstanding judicial endorsement rule, a principle that guided Ohio’s judiciary for more than 70 years. COLUMBUS — State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today introduced legislation that would permit medical aid in dying (MAID) in Ohio.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today voted “NO” on the vote to override a school district property tax levy restriction provision vetoed in House Bill 96 (the state operating budget). Line-item 66 would eliminate several types of levies, limiting the choices voters have in how to support their schools and local governments, and would not provide real property tax relief to Ohioans. Real property tax relief is one of the most pressing needs for everyday Ohioans. House Democrats are ready and willing to work together to get that done.

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today condemns the passage of House Bill (HB) 249, the drag ban, that would create the offense of an “unlawful”  adult cabaret performance. HB 249 is a direct attack on LGBTQ+ Ohioans across the state and is a prime example of government overreach.

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Jewish Caucus today released the following statement regarding concerning comments made this week during the Senate Judiciary Committee opponent testimony on Senate Bill (SB) 87, which would define antisemitism and include it within ethnic intimidation. During his testimony, a leader of the Center for American Islamic Relations in Ohio claimed that “they [Israelis] are literally skinning the dead bodies…in Palestine.” There is no substantiated evidence to verify this claim, and it is a clear reference to some of the most vile antisemitic rhetoric from history.
