COLUMBUS — The Ohio Jewish Caucus today released the following statement regarding concerning comments made this week during the Senate Judiciary Committee opponent testimony on Senate Bill (SB) 87, which would define antisemitism and include it within ethnic intimidation. During his testimony, a leader of the Center for American Islamic Relations in Ohio claimed that “they [Israelis] are literally skinning the dead bodies…in Palestine.” There is no substantiated evidence to verify this claim, and it is a clear reference to some of the most vile antisemitic rhetoric from history.
