COLUMBUS – State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) encourages Hamilton County non-profits, law enforcement agencies, and local government entities to apply for the Community Violence Prevention Grant Program.

COLUMBUS— Today the Ohio State Controlling Board approved funding for important projects in Hamilton County. Through capital funds given by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), Hamilton County will receive funds to purchase new and improve existing facilities in the community.

COLUMBUS—State Representative Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) has issued the following statement on local drug task force funding announced for Hamilton County to support reducing drug use and provide substance abuse awareness and prevention:

Ohio has long fought for better prevention against opioid addiction. Soon, Ohio will test a simple step to combat the opioid crisis – locking pill vials. This will be a monumental step toward protection of Ohioans misusing or distributing prescription opioids. 

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) highlights that $8.5 million will be awarded to various law enforcement agencies throughout Ohio. The funding will come from the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program.
