Abrams Announces House Override of Governor DeWine's SAFE Act, Save Women's Sports Act Veto

COLUMBUS— The Ohio House of Representatives today voted to override Governor DeWine’s recent veto of House Bill 68, announced State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison).
Abrams issued the following statement regarding the vote:
“Today, I took a necessary step to protect children and uplift the integrity of female sports in Ohio by voting to override the Governor’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and the Save Women’s Sports Act. My colleagues and I stood up for children and families, and responded swiftly to ensure these measures become law.”
The veto override now heads to the Ohio Senate for consideration.
