COLUMBUS - The Ohio House of Representatives lent its support to legislation by State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) during the most recent voting session. 

COLUMBUS - This week, the Ohio House passed House Bill 377, legislation outlining the second round of allocations of funding from the American Rescue Plan Act. Along with the majority of his colleagues, State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) supported the bill with a ‘yes’ vote. 

COLUMBUS - The Ohio Senate Government Oversight and Reform Committee gave the stamp of approval to House Bill 340, legislation to designate September as “International Underground Railroad Month.” Bill sponsors State Representatives Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) and Willis Blackshear (D-Dayton) began legislative action in October 2021 to recognize the critical time in American history. 

COLUMBUS – Ohio schools have been a focus for State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond). This week, his efforts were supported as the Ohio House’s Primary and Secondary Education Committee favorably reported two bills of which he is the primary sponsor. 

COLUMBUS - Last week, Brown County secured over $61,000 to remediate three vacant buildings through the newly launched Ohio Brownfield Remediation Grant Program. 

COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board recently approved funding for Clermont County Community Services, Inc. to continue its fight against homelessness, announced State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond)
