Brown and Clermont Counties Expected to Receive ARPA Funds
COLUMBUS – This week, the Ohio House passed House Bill 377, legislation outlining the second round of allocations of funding from the American Rescue Plan Act. Along with the majority of his colleagues, State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) supported the bill with a ‘yes’ vote.
“This is important funding that will be used to further recover from a turbulent time in history,” said Bird. “I look forward to seeing how Brown and Clermont Counties use the money to benefit residents.”
Communities in the 66th House District expected to receive funding are:

With the passage of the ARPA, Ohio was awarded $844 million and along with other states, given instructions to allocate funds in two phases, 12 months apart. This is the second phase of that funding.
The first distribution of funding took place in June 2021.
H.B. 377 now heads to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
