Bird Supports Local Drug Task Force Funding for Clermont County

COLUMBUS—State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond) has issued the following statement on local drug task force funding announced for Clermont County to support reducing drug use and provide substance abuse awareness and prevention:
“There have been many approaches taken by the General Assembly to combat Ohio’s growing substance abuse epidemic. I am proud to have supported this program in the state’s operating budget last year, and I look forward to seeing the work that can be done for Clermont County.”
The representative’s statement comes after it was announced the Clermont County Drug Unit is set to receive $157,954 from the RecoveryOhio Law Enforcement Fund.
