State Controlling Boards Sends Funding to Clermont County
COLUMBUS – The State Controlling Board recently approved funding for Clermont County Community Services, Inc. to continue its fight against homelessness, announced State Representative Adam Bird (R-New Richmond)
The Department of Development requested funding be released through the Homeless Crisis Response Program and be distributed to Ohio’s nonprofits and local government agencies. Nearly $15 million was approved by the Board, Clermont County Community Services, Inc. is slated to receive $139,000.
“I’d like to thank the Department of Development for their work on securing this funding,” said Bird. “Clermont County Community Services does very valuable work in my community and I look forward to seeing how they utilize these funds.”
The next Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for April 25.
