Ohio House of Representatives Speaker Jason Stephens (R–Kitts Hill) has issued the following statement regarding Governor Mike DeWine’s “State of the State” address:

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) was recently appointed by the Speaker of the House, Jason Stephens, to serve on the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission. 

State Representative Jena Powell (R-Arcanum) was sworn into office for a third term recently to the Ohio House of Representatives. Powell represents the new 80th House District, which includes Miami County and the southern portion of Darke County.

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) was administered his oath of office by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Patrick F. Fischer during a recent ceremony at the Statehouse. Ghanbari, serving his second elected term in the Ohio House of Representatives, was initially appointed in March 2019 during the 133rd General Assembly.  

COLUMBUS—State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) today announced the passage of two critical pieces of legislation he spearheaded in the Ohio House of Representatives.

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) applauds Senate Bill 16 being recently signed into law. The legislation included provisions of Cutrona’s bill he introduced, House Bill 459, with the goal of preventing sex predators from volunteering in a position that affords extensive contact with minor children.
