Legislation to Address Drug and Human Trafficking in Ohio
COLUMBUS –State Reps. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) and D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) today held a press conference on the Saving Ohio Communities Act, recently introduced legislation to address drug and human trafficking in Ohio.
COLUMBUS – Members of the Ohio House of Representatives have supported mothers by passing State Representatives Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) and Angie King’s (R-Celina) legislation to exempt nursing mothers from jury duty.
The Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 158, joint sponsored by State Reps. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Melanie Miller (R- City of Ashland). The legislation, which received overwhelming bipartisan support, updates Cosmetology and Barber Board statutes.
