The last few months have been filled with extensive debate and deliberation on a wide range of policy issues, including several we are facing as a result of the pandemic. Just as the pandemic is an historic time, with unprecedented challenges, similarly the legislative issues we face as a result are also unique.

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) spearheaded House Bill 377 as one of the primary sponsors, which was signed into law on Tuesday. The bill includes $422 million in funding to the Office of Budget and Management to disburse to local governments in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act.

Ohio House Bill 206, authored by State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg), was signed into law by Gov. Mike DeWine Friday during a ceremony at the Statehouse in Columbus. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives Thursday approved sweeping COVID-19 freedom legislation that protects employees and students from vaccine mandates. The bill also bans “vaccine passports.”

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) presented students and staff from Glacier Ridge Elementary School with an Ohio State Flag Tuesday.

State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) spearheaded and was the primary sponsor of House Bill 99, which was signed into law on Monday by Gov. Mike DeWine. The reformative bill focuses on school gun and safety training. Hall joined the governor at the Department of Public Safety for the bill signing.
