Richardson Presents Commendation to St. John's Volleyball Team

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) presented the St. John’s Lutheran School girls’ volleyball team with a commendation after the Lady Jaguars won the 2021 All-Ohio Lutheran Tournament.  

“These young ladies have worked extremely hard and impressively demonstrated their competitive spirit. It was an honor to be able to welcome the team, coaches and parents to the Statehouse and present them with a commendation for an excellent season,” said Richardson. “Mentoring and encouraging young leaders is a priority and joy for me.”

The Lady Jaguars went undefeated in 2021 with a 16-0 record in the Central Ohio Athletic League (COAL) claiming a championship at the regional level. The St. John’s Lutheran School girls’ volleyball team also won the COAL title in 2017, 2011, 2010 and 2008.  

This year’s team was made up of Hannah Boehm, Adalyn Lenkins-Castle, Mary Elizabeth Grimm, Clara Andrews, Cara Leng, Cami Leng, Mia Pagan, Sara Lynch, Alyssa Ball, Avery Gallmeyer, Tori Schleuter and Brooklyn Yurkovich. The team is coached by Kelly Gallmeyer and Mary Boehm.
