COLUMBUS — House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington), State Rep. Munira Abdullahi (D-Columbus), president of the Ohio Democratic Women's Caucus and several other women of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus yesterday held a press conference honoring Women’s History Month. Each member highlighted legislative priorities Democrats are fighting for that empower and support women across Ohio.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Munira Abdullahi (D-Columbus) recently attended the White House’s anniversary celebration of the Rehabilitation Act and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Both the Rehabilitation Act and ADA prohibit discrimination based on disability. The Rehabilitation Act covers federal contractors and programs receiving federal funds and the ADA covers public services, accommodations, and telecommunications. Together, they have created a more just society for Americans with disabilities in all walks of life.    

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Munira Abdullahi (D-Columbus) last week took to social media to address the situation in Palestine. In the days that have passed, thousands of Palestinian civilians have been murdered by the state of Israel, and even more have been injured. With a heavy heart, Rep. Munira reiterates her solidarity with the people of Palestine.
