Rep. Synenberg, House Dems Call on Governor DeWine to Veto Anti-Economic, Anti-Workers' Rights Senate Bill 1

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today along with other members of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus sent a letter to Governor Mike DeWine respectfully requesting he veto Senate Bill (SB) 1, the Higher Education Destruction Act. 

“Opposition to Senate Bill 1 is widespread among Ohioans and members of the Ohio House," said Rep. Synenberg. "We urge Governor DeWine to stand with our students and educators by vetoing this harmful legislation. He has the opportunity to protect the future of Ohio’s institutions of higher education.”

In trying to solve problems that do not exist, SB 1 creates new issues that will increase costs, stifle growth, and prevent Ohio’s young adults from reaching their full potential.
