COLUMBUS – State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today announced he was appointed to serve on the Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Commission.
“I am honored to have been appointed to the Elder Abuse Commission. I look forward to advocating on behalf of Ohio’s two million seniors for their right to age with justice, dignity, and respect,” said Rep. Synenberg.
The Elder Abuse Commission was established to improve education efforts, boost research, and raise awareness of the devastating effects of elder abuse and exploitation of older Ohioans. The commission provides a forum for improving elder justice throughout the state in addition to identifying funding, programming needs, and finding solutions.
