Rep. Synenberg Announces $1.6M in funding for Recycling, Litter Prevention in Northeast Ohio
Over $700k allocated to Cuyahoga County

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood) today announces that the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has awarded more than $700,000 to Cuyahoga County through the recently announced Recycle Ohio Grants Program.
“These dollars are a great step forward in strengthening our local recycling programs,” said Rep. Synenberg. “Not only are we protecting our environment, but also working to create cleaner, healthier communities for future generations, turning environmental responsibility into real, everyday progress for our neighborhoods.”
The following local communities in District 21 received funding:
- South Euclid- Lyndhurst City Schools: $8,500
- City of University Heights: $3,310
