COLUMBUS —The Ohio Jewish Caucus today released the following statement condemning the recent antisemitic hate speech being spewed by Nazi demonstrators in Hudson, Ohio, the hometown of the Jewish Caucus’ Senator Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson):

“Sometimes the strongest defense against fear, hate, and antisemitism is simply standing together as a community in peace and unity to drown out abhorrent rhetoric. We thank the people of Hudson and Jewish Ohioans for standing up against these antisemitic demonstrators. Hate speech and political violence must never be tolerated. Peace, love, empathy and strength of unity must always overcome,” said the Ohio Jewish Caucus.

Along with Sen. Weinstein, the Ohio Jewish Caucus is proudly represented by Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn (D-Cincinnati), Reps. Beryl Brown Piccolantonio (D-Gahanna), Christine Cockley (D-Columbus), Eric Synenberg (D-Beachwood), and Karen Brownlee (D-Symmes Township).
