COLUMBUS — State Rep. Elgin Rogers Jr. (D-Toledo) recently served as a featured panelist at the 30th Annual Energy Symposium, hosted by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel. Recognized as one of Ohio’s premier energy policy forums, the symposium convened top industry executives, policymakers, utility leaders, and business stakeholders to address the evolving challenges and opportunities shaping Ohio’s energy future.

Rep. Rogers was highlighted for his leadership and global perspective on international energy development and deployment, drawing from firsthand experience studying energy systems and infrastructure models abroad. Having traveled extensively, including engagements in Germany and multiple Canadian provinces such as Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario, Rep. Rogers has examined innovative approaches to grid modernization, renewable deployment, water stewardship, and cross-border energy collaboration.
