Rep. Rogers Shares Resources to Stay Safe During the Winter
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Elgin Rogers (D-Toledo) today is sharing resources that are available to help the citizens of Northwest Ohio experiencing the frigid temperatures associated with winter weather.
“We want to ensure that families and individuals have a safe and warm winter season. There are resources that are available to help with shelter needs, utility bills, and weatherization. Please reach out to my office or any of the resources below to see what assistance may be available to you,” said Rep. Rogers.
Citizens in need of warming shelters in Lucas, Ottawa, and Wood counties can call 2-1-1 for information. The City of Toledo offers additional information on warming shelters at: https://toledo.oh.gov/.../neighborhoods/snow-removal/shelter.
