COLUMBUS – State Rep. Elgin Rogers Jr. (D-Toledo) commented on the passage of House Bill (HB 15). HB 15 repeals the OVEC fees from the corrupt HB 6 and provides more transparency in the utilities’ rate review process.
“It is important that we hold Ohio’s energy utilities accountable and maintain transparency. Repealing House Bill 6 is a step in the right direction that will provide immediate relief for consumers once passed into law,” said Rep. Rogers.
HB 15 passed the House on Wednesday, April 30th with a concurrence vote of 94-2 and will now head to Governor DeWine’s desk for his signature.
