COLUMBUS – State Rep. Hall (D-Akron) today announced that the Department of Education and Workforce (DEW) has released 2025-2026 School Report Card data. Report cards are designed to give parents, communities, educators, and policymakers information about the performance of districts and schools — to celebrate achievement and success as well as identify areas for improvement.

“Members of our communities deserve clear and reliable information about how our schools are performing. Here at the Ohio House of Representatives, we rely on data like this to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform our policy-making decisions. We are committed to providing all Ohio students access to high-quality education, and this report card data can help guide those conversations to support Ohio schools,” said Rep. Hall.

Districts and schools receive an overall rating of 1-5 stars in half-star increments, as well as six rated components:

  1. Achievement
  2. Progress
  3. Early literacy
  4. Gap closing
  5. Graduation
  6. College, Career, Workforce, and Military Readiness.
