Bride Rose Sweeney (D-Cleveland) today announced the upcoming back-to-school Ohio sales tax holiday that will take place starting on Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4. In 2018, state lawmakers passed legislation making this three-day, back-to-school sales tax holiday a recurring holiday each year.
“Back-to-school can be a financially stressful time for Ohioans and I applaud the efforts made by the legislature to try and mitigate that stress,” said Sweeney. “I encourage my constituents and all Ohioans to take advantage of this great opportunity for sales-tax free school supplies.”
