COLUMBUS—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine yesterday signed House Bill 81 into Ohio law, announced State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron). Incorporated into the bill are two measures sponsored by Swearingen. 

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) today announced that the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health recently issued a temporary freeze and enhanced review process for new behavioral health and rehab provider applications.

COLUMBUS—The Ohio General Assembly yesterday approved Senate Bill 158, legislation that was amended to include House Bill 283, which will add a judge to the Adams County common pleas court, announced bill joint sponsor, State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland).

State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) is pleased to announce that two public libraries in District 79 have been awarded Guiding Ohio Online grants through the State Library of Ohio. During its May meeting, the State Library of Ohio Board approved more than $368,000 in federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funding for eighteen public libraries across the state.

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Thomas Hall (R- Madison Twp.) is pleased to announce that House Bill 303, legislation to establish a process by which a person may request to add new training or continuing education topics for EMS personnel, was signed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. 

State Representatives Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp.) and Brian Lorenz (R-Powell) today introduced the Kratom Consumer Protection Act – House Bill 587, legislation designed to protect Ohioans from dangerous synthetic kratom products.

State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) today announced that Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 393, legislation that would require community-based correctional facilities and programs in Ohio to assist individuals in custody in obtaining a state-issued identification card before their release.
