COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announces $58,700 from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) Body Worn Camera Grant awarded to Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and Youngstown State University Police Department. The grant program provides appropriations for local police departments adhering to Ohio Collaborative’s body-worn camera standard.
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced her assignment to the Ohio Commission on Infant Mortality for the 136th General Assembly. The Ohio Commission on Infant Mortality (ORC 3701.68) was created in 2014 with the goal of improving Ohio's infant mortality rate. Commission members are pulled together from the state legislature, directors, and designees from various executive agencies, and representatives from Ohio’s healthcare sector and community-based programs. The commission is charged with advising the governor on how to best allocate state funding and services to addressing infant mortality, which is defined as the death of a live-born baby before his or her first birthday.
