AKRON –The Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame (GABHoF) awarded State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) the Glenn “Speed” Award for his contributions to baseball in the Akron area for nearly 30 years.

COLUMBUS –State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) announced that several police and fire departments in Summit County will receive retention bonus grants. The incentives are awarded in appreciation of the work first responders do to promote public safety and their ongoing commitment to public service. 

COLUMBUS –State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) sent a bipartisan letter advising Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Director Anne Vogel to end E-Check in Northeast Ohio. The letter has signatures from House members in every affected county. 

COLUMBUS –The Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 158, joint sponsored by State Reps. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Melanie Miller (R- City of Ashland). The legislation, which received overwhelming bipartisan support, updates Cosmetology and Barber Board statutes.
