Odioso, Lett Introduce Bill to Expand Inclusive Housing Options for People with Developmental Disabilities

State Representatives Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp) and Crystal Lett (D-Columbus) introduced legislation to modernize the state’s Community Capital Assistance (CCA) program and expand affordable housing opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. The bill will amend the section of the Ohio Administrative Code 5123-1-03: Community Capital Assistance Funds – Acquisition of Housing to align with state-supported housing with modern best practices of inclusion, affordability, and community integration.

Mathews) this week received sponsor testimony in the House General Government Committee, announced Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) Chair Jamie Callender (R-Concord) and JCARR member Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon). House Bill 538 seeks to strengthen the Ohio Athletic Commission (OAC), formerly the Ohio Boxing Commission, by providing the resources necessary to accomplish its expanded role for both athletics and agents.

House Passes Bill Designating the "Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Vance M. Andrews Memorial Highway"

COLUMBUS, OHIO – State Representatives Mark Hiner (R-Howard) and Kevin Miller (R-Newark) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 430, legislation they jointly sponsored that dedicates a section of State Route 13 in Mount Vernon, Knox County, as the “Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt.
