COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 380, legislation that will name twenty-nine roads and bridges throughout Ohio. Included in the bill is a measure sponsored by State Reps. Brett Hillyer (R-Uhrichsville) and Kevin Miller (R-Newark) that will establish the Tuscarawas Valley Memorial Highway.

COLUMBUS –The Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 158, joint sponsored by State Reps. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Melanie Miller (R- City of Ashland). The legislation, which received unanimous support, updates Cosmetology and Barber Board statutes.

COLUMBUS—The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 364, legislation that exempts certain non-commercial seed-sharing activities from laws governing seed labeling, inspection, and advertising. The legislation is sponsored by State Reps. Dave Dobos (R-Columbus) and Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland).

COLUMBUS—State Reps. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) and Sedrick Denson (D- Cincinnati) recently introduced House Bill 619, legislation to expand access to breast cancer screenings in Ohio by removing common financial barriers. 

COLUMBUS—The House Homeland Security Committee yesterday passed House Bill 222, legislation to create the “Continue Your Story” specialty license plate in Ohio, announced bill sponsor, State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland).

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House Homeland Security Committee this week passed House Bill 232, announced State Reps. Jamie Callender (R-Concord) and Mike Loychik (R-Bazetta). This legislation will create a Historic and Patriotic Education license plate to support the educational and conservation work conducted by the Ohio Society, Sons of the American Revolution. 

COLUMBUS- The House Criminal Justice Committee today began hearings on House Bill 531, known as Braden’s Law, announced bill sponsors State Representatives Beth Lear (R-Galena) and Brian Lorenz (R-Powell). Braden’s Law would make sextortion a crime in Ohio.
