State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp to the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board. The board will be responsible for developing and approving procedures for the disbursement of opioid funds for the Foundation.

Ghanbari Announces '#RideAlongAndLearn Challenge' for Law Enforcement and First Responder Engagement
State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) launched a nationwide challenge dubbed “#RideAlongAndLearn,” during a press conference Wednesday at the Statehouse. Ghanbari called on elected officials and key leaders across the country to engage with their local law enforcement and first responders.
State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) announces that House Bill 226 unanimously passed today within the Ohio House of Representatives. The legislation increases legal protections for Guardian ad Litems (GALs) and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). Pavliga is a joint sponsor of the bipartisan bill as she spoke to it on the House floor.
State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) testified earlier today on House Bill 361, which is a bipartisan bill that seeks to stop railroad companies from blocking crossings. Hall is a joint sponsor of the legislation alongside State Rep. Jessica Miranda.
