Rep. Brennan Shares Voter Information from Board of Elections

October 1, 2024
Sean P. Brennan News

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) reminds Ohioans that on November 5, 2024 voters will decide the president and vice-president of the United States, control of the US Senate, US Congress, Ohio Senate, Ohio House, county council and judicial seats as well as several state, county and local issues.

Voters may vote by mail, early in-person or on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballot applications, early in-person voting hours and important dates and deadlines are on the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website: boe.cuyahogacounty.gov.  You may also call the Board of Elections for voter information: 216-443-VOTE (8683).

The Board of Elections is hiring poll workers and is also hiring people who would like to work on election night. Visit the Board of Elections website to apply.

Voters are encouraged to view a sample ballot on the Board of Elections website because there are at least six pages of candidates and issues that need to be read carefully to ensure the ballot is voted properly.  Some of the text is printed on more than one page of the double-sided ballots.

Those who vote early in-person and on Election Day are reminded to feed their ballots into the scanner slowly and one page at a time, as well as following onscreen instructions carefully.  Poll workers are able to assist voters who have questions about voting procedures.

“I want to express my gratitude for the hard work and effort from those at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections and for our poll workers who make this possible. I encourage everyone to make a plan to vote and to help others participate,” said Rep. Brennan.
