Rep. Brennan Celebrates Parma's Recognition as One of Ohio's Best Places to Live
COLUMBUS — State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) today celebrated Parma’s recognition as the second-best place to live in Ohio, according to the newly released 2025–26 U.S. News & World Report rankings:
“I’m proud—but not surprised—that Parma has been recognized as one of the best places to live in all of Ohio. This ranking is a well-deserved acknowledgment of the strong schools, safe neighborhoods, vibrant small businesses, beautiful parks, and incredibly hardworking people that make Parma such a special place to call home.
Parma’s strength lies in its sense of community. Whether you’re raising a family, starting a career, or looking for a welcoming and affordable place to retire, Parma delivers. We combine the best of suburban comfort with easy access to all the cultural and economic opportunities of the Greater Cleveland area.
I want to thank our city leaders, first responders, educators, business owners, and everyday residents for the pride they take in this community. Rankings come and go, but the people of Parma have long known what U.S. News & World Report is now affirming: Parma is a great place to live, work, and thrive,” said Rep. Brennan.
The publication’s rankings considered affordability, quality of life, job market strength, and overall desirability. Parma’s second-place ranking reinforces its reputation as one of the most livable, family-friendly cities in the state.
“While we celebrate this recognition, we also remain focused on the work ahead,” added Rep. Brennan. “I will continue advocating for smart investments in education, infrastructure, and public safety to ensure Parma remains one of Ohio’s most desirable cities for generations to come.”
