COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Board of Pharmacy has reclassified synthetic kratom, making its temporary ban permanent and ensuring it can no longer be sold in Ohio.
State Rep. Sean Brennan released a statement, saying, "Synthetic formulations present a clear and immediate risk.
These substances can be significantly more potent than morphine, and are often sold in unregulated settings, making them accessible to minors. Allowing this rule to stand helps close that dangerous gap."
