State Representative Fowler Arthur Announces 102 New Jobs Coming to the Village of Saybrook

COLUMBUS –State Representative Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Geneva-on-the-Lake) announced her support of Iten Defense LLC’s expansion project into the Village of Saybrook in Ashtabula County. 

This expansion project will create 102 new full-time positions in the area. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) recently reviewed and approved the project that was brought to their attention by JobsOhio. 

In addition to creating 102 new jobs in the area, the expansion of Iten Defense LLC will also generate $3.7 million in new annual payroll and will retain $3.1 million in existing payroll. 

Iten Defense fabricates advanced composite armor products that are used by various customers for military vehicles, personal protection, watercraft, and aircraft.  

“This investment by Iten Defense into the Village of Saybrook shows our state's commitment to bringing high-quality good-paying jobs to communities throughout our state,” said Fowler Arthur.
