COLUMBUS – State Representative Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Ashtabula) voted Wednesday in support of House Bill 96 – the House’s version of the State Operating Budget. This forward-looking, fiscally responsible budget plan invests in Ohio families and the state’s future – approving over $4 billion in record property tax relief for Ohioans and ensuring that every school district in the state receives an increase in school funding in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.

House Bill 96 yesterday – the House’s version of the State Operating Budget. State Representative Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Ashtabula) today voted in support of House Bill 15 – a market-driven initiative that aims to boost power generation in Ohio, improve affordability for ratepayers and increase reliability within the state’s electrical grid.

Representative Sarah Fowler Arthur (R – Ashtabula) is pleased to announce that House Bill 43 (H.B. 43), which would waive the required minimum instructional hours for Ashtabula Lakeside High School due to the school building being unusable after the roof collapsed, passed unanimously out of the House Education Committee this week. This bill would authorize the Department of Education and Workforce to waive no more than 24 hours of the 1,001 hours that is required for a public school in Ohio.
