Board Approves Funding for Eastern Gateway Community College

COLUMBUS - The State Controlling Board has approved funding for Eastern Gateway Community College located in Steubenville, Ohio. 

The Controlling Board released $1,795,642.00 in funds to assist with the replacement of the Community College’s current HVAC system. 

“I am pleased to see the state’s investment in Jefferson County, which will help ensure our future generations have quality facilities where they can learn and grow,” said Ferguson. 

Eastern Gateway’s current HVAC system has far exceeded its life expectancy, so replacement is necessary. The funding will ensure a more effective and efficient system, which will reduce annual operating expenses and maintenance costs
