COLUMBUS, OH – State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana) hosted a Mayor’s Roundtable Meeting in Lisbon on Monday. The meeting was attended by nearly 20 local mayors, city managers, and guests from the 79th House District to discuss local projects and subjects facing the area.  The special guest for the meeting was Columbiana County Port Authority CEO Penny Traina. Columbiana County Commissioner Tim Weigle was also in attendance to give an update on the state of the county.

“Having so many voices in the same place collaborating on how to keep communities in the 79th District growing is critical to our future,” Robb Blasdel said. “Whether it is hearing current project updates, finding out how the Port Authority is spurring economic growth, or what opportunities are coming with the Strategic Community Investment Fund, bringing everyone together is important.”

The Mayor’s Roundtable Meeting, started by Rep. Robb Blasdel after taking office in 2023, provides a regular opportunity to collaborate with the leaders in the 79th House District, talk about local projects, and learn about a particular topic of interest to the area. Previous topics include presentations from JobsOhio/TeamNEO and Kent State University.
