Robb Blasdel Appointed Vice Chair of House Public Utilities Committee, Receives More Committee Assignments

State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana County) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) as Vice Chair of the House Public Utilities Committee and as a member of several other committees.

“I love Columbiana and Carroll Counties and all the wonderful people I have had the opportunity to meet, and with these very important committee assignments given to me, I look forward to representing all of them down at the Statehouse,” said Robb Blasdel. “I thank Speaker Stephens for these appointments, and I’m excited to get to work to improve on our economy and jobs, education and so much more for the people of Ohio.”

• Vice Chair, Public Utilities Committee
• Finance
• Families and Aging 
• Energy and Natural Resources
• Finance Subcommittee on Transportation

Robb Blasdel has a broad background of work experience both in the private and public sectors. She started her career working for her family’s small business and spent several years after that working in Marketing and Sales before joining the Ohio Lieutenant Governor’s team in 2010. She has experience in education and workforce, labor, regulatory reform and broadband expansion projects.
