Representative Blasdel Re-appointed to the Ohio Environmental Education Fund Advisory Council
Representative Monica Robb-Blasdel (R-Columbiana) was recently re-appointed by Speaker of the House Matt Huffman (R-Lima) to serve on the Ohio Environmental Education Fund (OEEF) Advisory Council.
“I’m excited to announce to the 79th House District that I have been re-appointed to the Ohio Environmental Education Fund Advisory Council,” said Blasdel. “As a member of this council, I have the opportunity to provide input and oversight on the grants awarded by the OEEF, in furtherance of the fund’s mission to objectively educate the public regarding environmental issues. I am grateful to Speaker Huffman for entrusting me with this responsibility, and I am eager to continue this work.”
The OEEF was created by the General Assembly in 1990 to enhance Ohio citizens' awareness and understanding of environmental issues. It is administered by the Director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) and provides approximately $700,000 annually in grants to support environmental education efforts within the state of Ohio.
