Rep. Robb Blasdel Highlights New Fourth Grade History Pass
COLUMBUS – State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) today announced the launch of the Fourth Grade History Pass, a new initiative from America 250-Ohio that gives all Ohio fourth graders free general admission to participating history museums and historic sites during the 2025-2026 school year.
Robb Blasdel, who serves on the House Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee, emphasized the importance of connecting students to Ohio’s history through hands-on experiences.
“Fourth grade is when students begin learning about our state’s history in school,” said Rep. Robb Blasdel. “This program helps bring those lessons to life, giving students the chance to explore Ohio’s historic sites and museums firsthand.”
The pass provides free general admission for any Ohio fourth grader when accompanied by one paying adult. Students can use either a printed or digital pass at participating locations. The pass is valid through August 31, 2026 for the 2025-2026 school year and is not valid for group visits, field trips, or special add-on programming.
Representative Robb Blasdel is proud to highlight a few local participating destinations:
- Mahoning Valley Historical Society – Youngstown, OH
- Canton Museum of Art – Canton, OH
- Mckinley Presidential Library and Museum – Canton, OH
Dozens of additional museums and historic sites across Ohio are participating, with more expected to join.
