Blasdel Hosts Meeting with Community Leaders

LEETONIA, OH – Last Friday, State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana) met with community leaders across Carroll and Columbiana counties to get feedback and offer support at her quarterly Mayor’s Meeting. 

Mayors, city managers and/or village administrators from across the area were invited to the Leetonia Community Public Library for an open discussion. 

“This is a great opportunity to connect with other leaders in the surrounding areas to lean on each other for resources, support, and best practices as we work together to make our communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Blasdel. 

In addition to leadership conversations, representatives from the newly created JobsOhio Lake to River Region were in attendance as well to provide an overview of the new services. The expansion was announced in April by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and JobsOhio. The new four-county region includes Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
