Blasdel Appointed Vice Chair of Natural Resources Committee

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Monica Blasdel (Columbiana) is pleased to announce her committee assignments for the 136th General Assembly.

Blasdel has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman (R-Lima) as Vice Chair of the House Natural Resources Committee.

In addition to this role, she will serve on the following committees:

Energy Committee
Transportation Committee
Arts, Athletics, & Tourism Committee

“I’m excited to help lead the Natural Resources Committee and guide important conversations alongside Chair Don Jones, and to serve on three other important committees,” said Blasdel. “I am eager to get to work on important legislation that ensures Ohioans have affordable energy; working on the transportation budget, which makes critical investments in Ohio’s complex transportation system; and ensuring that we take advantage of the rich culture and tourism opportunities in our great state.”
